Terms of Service
The agreement between Mesh Suite and the retail business using it. It covers your account, your data, plans and payment, cancellation, and the law that applies.
Last updated: August 2026
This document is current as published and will be updated as Mesh Suite adds products and capabilities. Material changes will be announced in the product and by email before they take effect. Continued use after that date means the updated version applies.
01Who we are and what these terms cover
Mesh Suite is a retail operating system for businesses in India. It is delivered as a set of connected products, currently MeshPOS for in-store billing and inventory and MeshCRM for customer messaging, together with the suite home at www.meshsuite.in where you sign in and manage your workspace.
These Terms of Service form an agreement between Mesh Suite and the business that creates a workspace. Throughout this document, we and us mean Mesh Suite; you and your mean that business and every person you allow to use it. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
By creating a workspace, signing in, or using any Mesh Suite product, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into them by reference. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
02Your account and sign-in
One account signs in to every Mesh Suite product. You may create that account with an email address and a password, or by using Google sign-in where it is offered. Where a Google account and a Mesh Suite account share a verified email address, they resolve to the same workspace.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide, for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without authorisation.
Some Mesh Suite products, including the MeshPOS terminal application, sign in with a password. If your account was created through Google sign-in and has no password, you will be asked to add one before those products can be used. This is a technical requirement of those products and not a change to your subscription.
You may create additional users for your staff and assign them roles. You remain responsible for the access you grant, for removing access when someone leaves, and for the actions of everyone you invite.
03Your workspace and your data
The business records you put into Mesh Suite belong to you. That includes your product catalogue, customer records, invoices, payments, stock movements, staff records, and settings. We process them to provide the service to you, and for no independent purpose of our own.
Each workspace is a separate tenant. Data belonging to one workspace is isolated from every other workspace at the database level, and we do not combine your records with another business.
You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you enter, including having a proper basis to hold and use your customers' personal information and to send them messages. Where you use Mesh Suite to process personal data about your customers, you are the controller of that data and we act on your instructions.
How we collect, use, store and retain data is described in the Privacy Policy.
04Acceptable use and your responsibilities
Use Mesh Suite lawfully, for your own retail business, and in a way that does not degrade it for anyone else.
- Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to record transactions that misstate what actually happened.
- Do not attempt to access another workspace, circumvent access controls, probe or load-test the service without written permission, or reverse engineer any part of it.
- Do not upload malicious code, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Do not resell, sublicense, or provide the service to a third party as your own, unless we have agreed to it in writing.
- Do not send unsolicited or unlawful marketing through any messaging capability, and comply with the rules of the underlying channel, including the WhatsApp Business messaging policies where you use them.
- Keep the devices and terminals you install our software on reasonably secure, and keep operating systems and the application itself up to date.
05Tax invoices, GSTIN and statutory records
Mesh Suite generates tax invoices and maintains transaction records to help you meet your obligations under Indian tax law. You may record a GSTIN for your business and for each outlet, and that number is printed on the documents the software produces.
You are responsible for the accuracy of every tax detail you configure or enter, including your GSTIN, place of supply, HSN codes, tax rates, and the tax treatment applied to each product. We provide configurable tools; we do not provide tax advice, and configuring the software is not a substitute for advice from your accountant or tax practitioner.
You are responsible for filing your returns, for reconciling what the software records against what you file, and for retaining records for the periods the law requires. Verify that invoices produced by the software are correct for your business before issuing them to customers.
A GSTIN entered into Mesh Suite is business information, not personal information, and is used only to produce your documents and to identify your outlets within your own workspace. We do not sell it, and we do not disclose it except as described in the Privacy Policy.
06Plans, fees and payment data
Mesh Suite is offered on a free plan and on paid plans. The plan you choose sets the products you can use and the limits that apply to your workspace, including invoice and catalogue limits. Current plans and prices are shown at www.meshsuite.in and inside your workspace.
The free plan requires no payment details and does not renew into a paid plan on its own. Paid plans, when you subscribe to one, are billed in advance for each billing period and renew for the same period until cancelled.
Prices are in Indian rupees and, unless stated otherwise, exclusive of applicable taxes, which are added at the prevailing rate. We may change prices for future billing periods and will give reasonable notice before a change applies to you.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Card numbers and equivalent payment credentials are collected and stored by those providers under their own security standards, not by Mesh Suite. We retain only what we need to administer your subscription, such as the plan, the billing period, the last four digits and card type where the provider supplies them, and the invoices we raise. We never store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials.
If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend paid features until it succeeds. You are responsible for keeping your billing details current.
07Cancellation, downgrade and closing your workspace
You may cancel a paid plan at any time from your workspace. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep paid features until then. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for a partly used billing period unless the law requires it or we have agreed otherwise in writing.
When a paid plan ends, your workspace moves to the free plan. Data above the free plan limits is not deleted, but you may not be able to add new records until you are back within those limits or subscribe again.
You may ask us to close your workspace entirely. Export what you need first: closure is intended to be final. After closure we delete or irreversibly anonymise your data within the retention periods set out in the Privacy Policy, except where a law requires us to keep specific records for longer.
You can stop using the free plan at any time simply by not using it. We may close a free workspace that has been inactive for an extended period, after giving notice by email to the address on the account.
08Availability, offline operation and support
MeshPOS is designed to keep billing working when your internet connection does not: the terminal application holds a local copy of the data it needs and synchronises when a connection returns. Cloud features, including the suite dashboard, the web administration console and messaging, need a working connection.
We aim to keep the service available and to give advance notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may need to perform urgent maintenance without notice.
Support is provided by email at the address given below. Response times differ by plan and are described with the plan.
You are responsible for your own hardware, operating systems, printers, scanners, internet connection and electricity supply, and for keeping your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
09Third-party services
Mesh Suite relies on third parties to deliver parts of the service, including cloud hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, bot protection, identity providers such as Google where you choose to sign in with them, payment providers, and messaging platforms such as the WhatsApp Business Platform.
Where you connect Mesh Suite to a third-party service, your use of that service is governed by its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for a third-party service being unavailable, changing its rules, or refusing to deliver a message.
10Intellectual property
Mesh Suite, including the software, its interfaces, documentation, and the Mesh Suite, MeshPOS and MeshCRM names and marks, belongs to us and to our licensors. Subject to these terms and to payment of any fees due, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business for as long as your subscription lasts.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the software to you, and nothing transfers ownership of your business records to us.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without obligation to you.
11Confidentiality
Each of us may learn confidential information about the other. Each of us agrees to use the other's confidential information only to perform this agreement, to protect it with at least reasonable care, and not to disclose it except to people who need it and are bound by similar obligations, or where disclosure is required by law.
12Warranties and disclaimers
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available, and we exclude all other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will meet every requirement of your business, that it will be uninterrupted, or that every calculation it performs will be correct for your circumstances without your own verification. Tax, accounting and inventory outputs must be reviewed by you.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data, however caused.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with this agreement in any twelve-month period is limited to the total fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. Where you are on a free plan and have paid us nothing, that limit is five thousand Indian rupees.
These limits apply to all claims taken together, whether in contract, tort including negligence, or otherwise.
14Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from data you put into the service that infringes someone else's rights or breaks the law, and from messages you send to your customers through the service.
15Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these terms and do not fix the breach within a reasonable period after we ask, where fees remain unpaid after notice, where we are required to by law, or where continued access poses a genuine security risk to the service or to other customers.
Where the circumstances allow it, we will give notice first and a chance to put things right. Where we must act immediately to protect the service, we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can.
On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted in line with the Privacy Policy.
16Changes to the service and to these terms
Mesh Suite is under active development. We add, change and occasionally retire features. We will not make a change that materially reduces the core functionality of a paid plan during a billing period you have already paid for, without offering you a reasonable remedy.
We may update these terms. Where a change is material, we will give notice in the product or by email before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the service after that date means the updated terms apply to you.
17General
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order or plan details you accept, are the entire agreement between us about the service, and replace anything said before.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement without our written consent; we may assign it to an affiliate or in connection with a reorganisation or sale of the business.
Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including failure of public infrastructure, network or power.
Notices to you are given to the email address on your account. Notices to us are given to the address below.
18Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of India.
The courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and both parties submit to that jurisdiction.
Before starting proceedings, each party agrees to raise the issue in writing with the other and to try in good faith to resolve it within thirty days.
